Which LECASTLE HUD do you use?

It is free. Buy a LECASTLE outfit that works with it and our redelivery box sends it to you once - Second Life asks "LECASTLE Redelivery Dropbox has given you ...": accept it. Our newest releases also have it in the box, next to the Media HUD. Its README notecard comes the first time you wear it.

No. The Classic HUD is buttons only - media can stay off. It talks to our server from the Second Life region, never from your computer, and nothing opens in your viewer.

Put your LECASTLE outfit on, then touch the HUD. Keep the HUD's description empty - then it always finds the outfit you wear. Older LECASTLE outfits (before November 2025) use the HUD in their own box.

Take the outfit off, put it on again, and try once more. Do not type /setchannel - the HUD finds every outfit's channel by itself, and /setchannel can also change other LECASTLE items near you.

In TINT, hold the slot for a second - an X shows. Let go and the slot is empty again. A short tap uses the colour; tap an empty slot to keep the colour on now. Each save shows the colour's code (RGB and #hex) in your chat.

STYLE ME styles every LECASTLE outfit you wear as one look. Every avatar gets 50 free AI styles - the same count on the Classic HUD, the Media HUD and the AI terminal. The HUD is a media screen. In Second Life open Preferences › Sound & Media, turn Media on and allow it to play. Then touch the HUD once - the screen opens. If it still stays dark, touch the frame of the HUD (not the screen) to reconnect.

The screen is a normal web page, shown by Second Life's own built-in browser - the same one that shows profiles, the Marketplace and parcel media. It shows only our own LECASTLE page.

What our server gets: like every website you open, your connection (to send the page back), and your avatar and the buttons you tap, so it can remember your looks and colours. Our server logs are deleted after 14 days.

What it never gets: your password, your payment details or your inventory. Payments go through Second Life's own window. There are no ads and no tracking on the page, and we never sell or share anyone's data.

If our website is ever down: your outfit keeps the colours you put on it - they are on the outfit itself. Only changing them waits until the HUD is back.

Why media? A media HUD can show the real texture of every colour, full sets, your saved looks and AI styling - far more than a button HUD can hold.

Wear the outfit in the same region as the HUD. Most outfits work at once. If your outfit's description shows a channel number, say /setchannel and that number in local chat (like /setchannel 5555) - the HUD keeps it.

Click once inside the box first (the name box, the colour box or the chat), then type. Still nothing? Another media HUD you wear (like HANGER) may keep the keyboard - take it off, then click the box and type.

Yes - for your avatar, on our server. Take the HUD off, wear it again or use another LECASTLE HUD: your looks, saved colours and AI styles are still there.

Every avatar gets 50 free AI styles (all LECASTLE outfits together). The number on the sparkles button shows how many you have. When you want more: 50 styles for L$49 right from your HUD, or at the LECASTLE AI terminal in our mainstore - 50 for L$49, 150 for L$99 or 500 for L$299.

The HUD only asks when you tap Get 50 styles. Second Life then shows its own window asking you to allow the payment. Only L$49 can be taken, the permission is given back right after, and your styles are added only when Second Life confirms the payment.

Your phone works only while you wear the HUD in Second Life. A new QR code ends the old link - scan the newest one. A link works for 30 days.

Older LECASTLE HUDs keep working as they are. This guide is for the new media HUD with the LECASTLE screen.
